The first ever pearl tender in the UAE, organized by the Dubai Pearl Exchange (DPE), a division of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), has generated over USD $ 1.0 million wholesale value. “The Dubai Pearl Exchange’s inaugural tender of rare cultured and natural pearls has chanelled the pearl trade to Dubai and underscored the UAE’s historic relevance in the international market,” commented Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman, DMCC.
